Fuel prices will decrease from Tuesday – gasoline by approximately 18 lipa per liter, and diesel by 11 lipa, the Ministry of Economy reported on Monday.
According to the latest calculations, there will be a drop in fuel prices starting Tuesday. Thus, according to the Ministry of Economy’s calculations, gasoline could become cheaper by about 18 lipa per liter, while diesel fuels could decrease by about 11 lipa per liter, they say at the Ministry.
They note that the price reductions will occur due to the decline in oil derivative prices in the Mediterranean, specifically gasoline by 4.5 percent, diesel by 2.3 percent, and a 1 percent drop in the exchange rate of the US dollar. Fuel prices will thus fall for the second consecutive week.
The Ministry emphasizes that the market for oil derivatives in Croatia is free and that the new prices, and thus the level of price reductions, ultimately primarily depend on the decision of traders.
