After a significant rise in fuel prices last week, most drivers can breathe a sigh of relief. Today, a liter of Eurosuper 95, as well as a liter of Eurodiesel, is cheaper by 6 lipa. The price of Eurosuper 95 now hovers around 9.22 kuna, while a liter of Eurodiesel is sold between 8.59 and 8.62 kuna, depending on the company.
However, drivers using autogas have no reason to celebrate again. For the fifth consecutive week, the price of this type of fuel is rising. According to information from the portal cijenegoriva.info, a liter of autogas has increased by 9 lipa and is sold for 3.90 kuna, which is the highest price in nearly four months. Over the last five weeks, the price of autogas has jumped a total of 39 lipa, making a 50-liter tank more expensive by a total of 19.5 kuna. Plinski centar Zagreb is one of the cheaper options with a price of 3.67 kuna.
Looking at the state of the global crude oil markets, a barrel is priced around 48 dollars, which means it has been almost constantly falling over the last two weeks. At the same time, the average exchange rate of the dollar and kuna slightly increased last week, but has been declining since the beginning of this week. If this trend of the dollar and kuna continues, along with a slight drop in oil prices in the global markets, provided that this trend reflects on the Mediterranean market, it could happen that fuel prices drop again next week.
