The recovery of HT stock price today slightly lifted Crobex on the Zagreb Stock Exchange, while the price of Dioki stock continues to be in sharp correction.
The Crobex index was up 0.16 percent around 12:00 PM, at 1,790 points, while Crobex10 was up 0.33 percent, at 1,007 points.
Regular trading volume amounted to 3.31 million kuna, which is approximately 1.3 million more than the previous day.
“As in previous days, liquidity is weak. Most of today’s trading was achieved with HT stock, whose price has somewhat recovered, and thanks to that, Crobex is in slight positive territory. On the other hand, the price of Dioki stock is still in sharp correction following the news that creditors did not support the financial restructuring plan,” says Boris Mažurin, analyst at the Economic Research Department of Hypo Alpe Adria Bank.
By noon, HT stock achieved a trading volume of 2.4 million kuna. Its price strengthened by 1.54 percent, to 171.28 kuna, moving away from the historically lowest level of 168.41 kuna, which it touched during trading on Wednesday.
Dioki stock, on the other hand, was the biggest loser. After yesterday’s drop of 67 percent, its price plummeted by 78 percent today, to 4.68 kuna. With a trading volume of 168,000 kuna, it is the second most liquid stock, behind HT.
Most of Dioki’s creditors did not accept the financial restructuring plan at yesterday’s hearing as part of the pre-bankruptcy settlement, so the pre-bankruptcy settlement procedure will be suspended, meaning that Dioki is heading for bankruptcy.
In rather lethargic trading, Solaris stock stands out with a price jump of 7.47 percent, while Varteks stock stands out with a price drop of 6 percent.
