At this week’s and next week’s Government sessions, the offers from Austrian Erste and Hungarian OTP for HPB, as well as from domestic Adris and Polish PZU for the purchase of Croatia Insurance, are expected to be presented, writes Globus.
According to information from this weekly, Erste won the qualification race for HPB with an offer of 130 million euros, while OTP’s offer varies from 91 to 118 million euros. When it comes to CO, ultimately, Adris made a higher offer, showing interest in 132,000 shares by offering 104.2 million euros and a recapitalization of 130 million euros, making their final offer amount to 234.2 million euros.
Polish PZU, on the other hand, made an offer for 135,000 shares at 900 euros, but for the recapitalization, they offer 50 million euros, making their final offer 171.5 million euros.
In the Government, they expect even higher offers in the second round for both state companies.
