Mayor Milan Bandić is reportedly very dissatisfied with certain members of the Management Board and the Supervisory Board of the Zagreb Holding. Yesterday, the dismissal of two Management Board members – Ante Samodol and Zdenko Milas – was expected, but ultimately the urgent session of the Holding’s Assembly, which Bandić presides over, had topics: “Relationship of Management Board Members” and possible reduction in the number of Supervisory Board members.
This duo, as reported by Jutarnji list, recently expressed their views at a Management Board meeting that the plan for the separation of the company and their possible privatization are not supported by long-term financial plans or feasibility studies.
– At the meeting, it was stated that these conceptual differences among the members of the Management Board and the Supervisory Board will not be able to function for much longer. There were no raised voices, Bandić mostly held a monologue, and the impression is that he called for unity among the Management and the Assembly of the company – claims an unnamed source.
According to him, Bandić became furious on Wednesday because the agenda item regarding the separation of seven subsidiaries of the Holding into commercial companies was removed from the Supervisory Board meeting. The Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Vlado Leko, withdrew the item because two members of the Supervisory Board, Maruška Vizek and Hrvoje Šimović, provided separate opinions on that item.
