A recent decision by the Zagreb City Assembly has enabled the separation of subsidiaries of Zagreb Holding into special trading companies, with seven being separated in the first wave. These include Čistoća, Vodoopskrba i odvodnja, Gradsko stambeno komunalno gospodarstvo, AGM, Robni terminali, Stanogradnja, and Tržnice.
Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandić and the CEO of the Holding, Slobodan Ljubičić, believe that this is a necessary step for the restructuring of the Holding, but there are those who do not share their opinion.
