Tim Kabel, a company owned by the Topčić family, continues to achieve success with its cables beyond borders. A few days ago, they secured a contract worth 2.2 million euros in Australia. As they informed us, this is their largest single export deal.
– We will complete this job by the end of November, and this is proof that we can compete in the largest global markets. With our price and quality, we were the best and defeated local companies, which is a significant achievement, and we will send approximately 30 containers of goods to Australia – emphasized Ivan Breulj, Director of Procurement and Export.
This year, they expect exports to contribute to revenues of approximately 50 million kuna, and in a few years, they hope to reach 100 million. One of their goals is to enter the North American market, and they will be assisted by participants in the MBA program at Queen’s School of Business in Kingston, Canada. A five-member team, consisting of: Allan Nixon, Monica Rye, Leah Stone, Ryan Utley, and Curt Walker, will conduct an analysis of Tim Kabel and the possibilities of entering that market. They selected Tim Kabel from among hundreds of applications for the case study, and they liked that it is a fast-growing company from a new member of the European Union.
