The company from the group Dalekovod d.d., Dalekovod Projekt, has signed a contract with the British company Costain for design work on the overhead power line renovation project.
As reported by Dalekovod, Costain has signed a contract with UK Power Networks, one of the distribution system operators in Great Britain, for the design and execution of works on the renovation of existing 132 kV overhead power lines and the installation of optical cables, with Dalekovod Projekt engaged in the design for this project.
Costain operates in the field of infrastructure facilities (roads, energy, railways, airports) and natural resources (water, gas, nuclear energy).
This contract is of great importance for Dalekovod Projekt d.o.o., as well as for Dalekovod, as it is one of the larger foreign projects that will ensure a long-term presence in that market and represents the first step towards entering that demanding market, emphasize Dalekovod.
