Zagreb construction company Tehnika announced today the signing of a contract for the execution of part of the works on the construction of the Ikea department store in Rugvica, valued at 10.55 million kuna.
According to the announcement from Tehnika, the contract for the execution of works was concluded with the main contractor, Strabag d.o.o., and relates to the works on the construction of the monolithic concrete structure necessary for the construction of the Ikea department store.
The total price of the contracted works amounts to 10.55 million kuna excluding VAT, it is concluded in the announcement.
Tehnika had previously contracted with Ikea Hrvatska d.o.o. for the execution of prefabricated concrete assembly construction for this department store, valued at 25.53 million kuna, excluding VAT.
Ikea Hrvatska received the building permit for the construction of its department store in the settlement of Rugvica in January of this year, and at the end of August this year, the execution of the main above-ground construction works on that facility began, with its opening expected in the summer of 2014.
The company Strabag is responsible for the construction of the Ikea department store, having won this job worth 165 million kuna in an international tender.
