The Croatian Chamber of Economy (HGK) considers it very important that Prime Minister Zoran Milanović emphasized the directions for further action of the Government in today’s report to the Parliament, aiming for a longer-term stable growth and full employment, while HGK points out that models need to be found for faster implementation of development guidelines.
HGK welcomes the decision for the Government to submit a report on the state of the national economy once a year, as this transparently allows the Parliament and the wider public to gain insight into the work of the Government, is HGK’s comment on the Prime Minister’s presentation in the Croatian Parliament.
In this context, as they emphasize, Prime Minister Zoran Milanović presented in detail and objectively the state and previous trends in the country, highlighting the directions for further action of the Government aimed at achieving longer-term stable growth and full employment.
“The four basic directions that the Prime Minister mentioned are actually the continuation of the consolidation and restructuring of the economy, which is completely justified due to the depth of the crisis in the national economy, but it is essential to find models for faster implementation of these development guidelines,” emphasize HGK.
