At the first meeting of the negotiating teams of the Government of the Republic of Croatia and MOL regarding the oil company INA, discussions were held on the conduct of negotiations and the areas to be negotiated.
Both parties in the negotiations agreed on the course and manner of conducting negotiations and it was generally agreed that they would meet once a month, that the negotiating materials would be delivered in advance, and that each proposed conclusion would be considered negotiated when submitted in written form and when each party aligns with its regulations or structure. Each new point of negotiation is initiated when the previous one is completed, and during the negotiations, there will be no unofficial meetings of the negotiating team members.
It was also agreed that the negotiations would cover the future of corporate governance, cost control, investment and profit distribution, research, development and production of hydrocarbons, procurement and processing of oil and production of oil derivatives, wholesale of oil derivatives, retail of oil derivatives, and gas business.
– We have agreed on common goals for INA – increasing investments, improving business efficiency, and a greater contribution of INA to the development of the Croatian economy – it was communicated from the Government.
