Press kiosks could become richer with another service – an exchange office.
– Given that we have received inquiries from customers, mostly foreign nationals, at some seasonal sales points about the possibility of purchasing kuna, we decided to test the exchange office service in our network. Tisak will test the service in September at 14 sales points. The potential introduction of this service at suitable seasonal locations is possible in the first half of 2014 – say the largest domestic kiosk chain owned by Agrokor.
The company led by Dražen Kocijan has so far included cash withdrawals from debit and credit cards, bill payments, package sending, playing the lottery and other games of chance from the Croatian Lottery, photo printing, copying, and the purchase of old paper in its services. Due to cash payouts at Tisak (and Konzum), kiosks have already become cash institutions, prompting changes to the Law on minimum protection measures in cash transactions and valuables.
