The Croatian Post and Electronic Communications Agency (HAKOM) has announced a new, already the third public competition for the development of applications as part of its own Internet Development and Broadband Access Program in areas of special state concern, mountainous areas, and islands, it was announced today by the agency.
The competition for the realization of selected ideas is the third since the beginning of the year and represents one of the phases of the application development project, which will contribute to the faster development of the broadband ecosystem – broadband networks, applications beneficial to the population, and information infrastructure such as servers and user terminals.
So far, HAKOM has initiated the development of ten different internet applications in the fields of health, protection and rescue, education, agriculture, e-commerce, and e-government services after conducting two public competitions in the first half of the year, with completion and delivery of the applications expected in the first half of next year.
In this third round, three ideas primarily aimed at children will be realized.
The personal therapist project is a support system within healthcare. The goal is to provide a tool for an individual approach to each patient, and the advantage of the system is enabling the implementation of rehabilitation programs outside specialized healthcare institutions, for example, in the homes of patients equipped with the system.
