On the Money Market in Zagreb, demand has significantly increased today, with a portion of it remaining uncovered, although the supply was considerably higher.
Demand today was up by 52 percent compared to Friday, reaching 92.3 million kuna, while supply fell by about 15 percent to 222.3 million.
Although supply was higher, a portion of the demand, around 50 million kuna, remained uncovered.
The largest amount, 32.3 million kuna, was placed for a term of one month at an interest rate of 3.4 percent.
Overnight, however, 10 million kuna was placed at a rate of 0.8 percent.
The total turnover on the Money Market today amounted to 42.3 million kuna, with the average interest rate rising from 2.38 percent, as it was on Friday, to 2.82 percent.
