The Croatian Insurance Bureau (HUO) has become an associate member of the Croatian Employers’ Association (HUP), it was announced today by the association.
This continues HUP’s initiative to gather all participants in the financial market within its branch Association of Financial Business.
The focus of the joint action will be the harmonization of regulatory and tax treatment of voluntary pension savings, improvement of regulation in the insurance market, recognition and strengthening of the role of insurers in health insurance, and the initiation of activities aimed at better recognition of life insurance and financial literacy in general, the statement says.
Additionally, HUP and HUO will jointly work on consumer protection, encouraging quality long-term investments, enhancing the reputation of insurance, and improving cooperation with relevant ministries and other institutions.
