Konzum’s General Assembly decided on Tuesday to withdraw the shares of this retail chain from listing on the regulated market of the Zagreb Stock Exchange, thus becoming the eleventh company to delist its shares this year.
Shares that have already left the Zagreb Stock Exchange include Borik, Jadran, Božjakovina, Hotels Excelsior and Bellevue, Riviera Adria, Slavonija fashion confectionery, Validus, Istraturist, and Jadrankamen.
When it comes to Konzum, following the merger of Konzum and Mercator into Adria Retail, the listing of the company’s shares on the London or New York Stock Exchange is expected. All shareholders who disagree with the decision to leave the Zagreb Stock Exchange will be compensated. Konzum has committed that the compensation will not be less than 148 kuna, the price that was valid in Agrokor’s public offering.
