Prime Minister Zoran Milanović today visited the latest Vindija production lines in Varaždin, into which the company invested 3.5 million euros. General Director Dragutin Drk, along with his associates, showed the Prime Minister the complete facility at this location.
With the latest production line of the Vindija Vivis factory for process preparation, filling of fresh cheese, and cheese spreads, Vindija has completed an investment cycle in the dairy segment worth 25.1 million euros. The new factory spans 4,700 square meters of production space equipped according to high construction, technological, hygienic, and ecological standards for the food industry applicable in Croatia and the European Union. As stated, despite difficult economic conditions, Vindija continues its growth and development, contributing to the well-being of the local community as well as the national economy as a whole.
The Prime Minister himself is extremely satisfied with what was presented.
– Vindija is one of our strongest companies in this industry, and these facilities are at a European level. We are now operating in a new European market, and this is a new game for all our producers. We have quality products that are competitive in that regard, but we now need to play the second game to secure a position in that large market. We certainly have quality – said Milanović.
