Apartment Prices Continued to Fall in July

According to data from Crozilla, apartment prices recorded lower values in July compared to the previous month, as well as lower values compared to the same month last year.

July prices recorded a monthly decline of 0.2 percent and an annual decline of 4 percent, as shown by data from the portal Crozilla.com.

Compared to June, the largest decline in July apartment prices was recorded in Zadar (-4.5 percent) and Šibenik (-3.2 percent), while Split recorded the largest monthly price increase during the same period (4.8 percent). The average asking price per square meter in Zadar was 1527 euros, in Šibenik 1467 euros, and in Split 2077 euros.

According to data from the portal Crozilla.com, the recorded decline in apartment prices in Rijeka was 0.3 percent, making the average asking price per square meter during July 1402 euros.

Despite the fact that apartment prices are in constant decline, Zagreb, Split, Osijek, and Slavonski Brod recorded slightly more expensive apartments in July.

In Osijek, the average asking price per square meter was 943 euros, which is 1.6 percent higher than the previous month. In Slavonski Brod, the price increased by 2 percent, with an average asking price of 939 euros per square meter. During July, advertisements in the city of Zagreb were listed at an average asking price of 1641 euros on the portal Crozilla.com, which is only 0.07 percent, or on average just one euro higher than the previous month.

On an annual basis, compared to last July, the largest price difference was recorded in Pula (-5.8 percent) and Zagreb (-5.3 percent).

Pula’s prices recorded a monthly decline of 2.4 percent, bringing the average asking price per square meter down to 1328 euros.

Apartment prices in Varaždin fell by an average of 0.1 percent, making the average asking price during July 1028 euros.
According to data from the portal Crozilla.com, apartment prices in Zagreb during July recorded lower values in some parts of the city and higher values in others compared to the previous month. However, compared to the same month last year, prices were lower in all parts of the city, with the largest decline recorded in the western part (-6.3 percent) and the eastern part of the city (-5.2 percent).

The center and eastern part of the city recorded a monthly price increase of 0.4 percent. The average asking price per square meter in the central part of the city was 1879 euros, while in the eastern part it was 1646 euros.

In Novi Zagreb, the price fell by an average of 1.5 percent, with an average asking price of 1377 euros per square meter. In the western part of the city, the price fell by only 0.08 percent, with an average asking price of 1575 euros per square meter.
