1.HPB and CO

In a week, the deadline for potential investors to submit their expression of interest to the Ministry of Finance for Hrvatska poštanska banka and Croatia osiguranje will expire, after which the collection of non-binding offers will follow. Let us remind you, the state owns 80.2 percent of the shares of Croatia osiguranja, and after the sale, it intends to retain at least 25 percent plus one share.
According to estimates by the consulting firm KPMG, the state will earn 90 million euros from the sale of shares in the largest domestic insurer. Among the interested parties are the Polish PZU group, domestic Adris, and Slovenian Triglav.
In HPB, the state holds 99.13 percent of the shares and intends to sell the entire stake, with Hungarian OTP banka also mentioned among the interested parties. Non-binding offers for both companies are accepted until September 20.

2. Croatia Airlines

By mid-October, the announcement of an international call for expressions of interest for the sale of shares or recapitalization of Croatia Airlines is planned, and for now, up to 49 percent of the stake is expected to be offered. Among the interested parties are China Southern Airlines, Etihad, and Garuda Indonesia.

3. Petrokemija

By the end of the year, after a successful recapitalization in which 186.2 million kuna was raised, a tender for the sale of the Kutina fertilizer producer is expected to be announced, where the state intends to retain 25 percent plus one share, but an advisor will be selected first.
In the context of potential investors, Gazprom, Yara, and Borealis have been mentioned so far…

Monetization of Highways In the middle of next month, the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs, and Infrastructure is expected to announce an international tender for the monetization of highways, and according to Minister Hajdaš Dončić  advisors preparing the monetization model have received 47 responses from various investment and pension funds, highway managers, construction companies, and even domestic pension funds, who are interested in forming a consortium.
Domestic pension funds, according to Jutarnji list, have already made progress in preparing for this project and are ready to invest one billion euros.
