Representatives of the food industry Vindija presented a new facility for the production of meat products in Plandište, Republic of Serbia, the final phase of an investment cycle crucial for the uninterrupted export of additional quantities of poultry products to the CEFTA markets, as well as to EU countries and Russia.
-Vindija has successfully overcome obstacles in exporting to CEFTA member countries with a total investment amount in Serbia of 34,054,000 euros and ensured a solid foundation for securing a stable position in chicken meat production in the Republic of Serbia and an increasing presence in the EU and Russian Federation markets- emphasized Dragutin Drk, General Director of PS Vindija, who has successfully integrated operations in Serbia with a fattening farm, the UNIP animal feed factory in Valjevo, the meat industry in Plandište, and three distribution centers, thus ensuring a unique competitive advantage – complete control over every phase of production that guarantees verified origin and the highest quality of meat.
With this modernization and expansion of the production facility worth 2,660,000 euros, Vindija has increased production capacities and significantly expanded its product range, thereby strengthening the potential for exporting high-value-added products to countries in the region and the European Union.
