The company Skladgradnja, in partnership with the Czech company OHL, has won the tender for the contractor for flood protection works in Metković.
This involves the construction of embankments, supply channels with accompanying facilities, regulatory structures, cable routes, and a facility on the crown of the embankment.
The tender was announced in March, and the investor is Hrvatske vode. Skladgradnja and OHL submitted the lowest bid of 32,516,386.07 kuna, followed by the consortium of bidders Neretvanski sliv, Vodoprivreda Split, Cetina d.d., Vodoprivreda Vrgorac, and Brodska posavina d.o.o. Swietelsky and Geodetika, Viadukt and Werkos, Osijek Koteks also applied for the tender, with the highest bid being that of Ing-grad and Vodoprivreda Vinkovci at 42,123,532.90 kuna.
It should be noted that the Czech OHL is a sister company to the Spanish OHL, with which Skladgradnja also submitted the most favorable bid for the construction of a bridge on the Sava.
