Sberbank Opens Branch with New Visual Identity

Today, a rebranded Sberbank d.d. branch was opened in Zagreb, fully aligned with the corporate standards of the Sberbank Group.

Sberbank, the third largest European bank by market capitalization, has been operating in the Republic of Croatia under the name Sberbank d.d. since January 18, 2013, when Volksbank d.d. was successfully renamed to Sberbank d.d.. Following the name change, there was also a change in the Bank’s visual identity, including the appearance of branches, and the rebranding process continues with the renovation of the branch in Čakovec.

The rebranding process will continue until December of this year, by which time the rebranding of all Bank branches – 31 branches in 23 Croatian cities – should be completed.

Sberbank is one of the leading banks in Europe and one of the largest and fastest-growing global financial institutions. The Sberbank brand was declared the 13th most valuable financial brand in the world and the second in Europe in 2012, with a value of $14.2 billion, representing an increase of nearly $3.4 billion compared to 2011.

Additionally, in the annual selection of the prestigious British financial monthly Euromoney, Sberbank was named the best bank in Russia and the CEE region in early July in London. This award is considered the most prestigious award in the global financial services segment, and the criteria applied in the selection process for the best banks include size, profitability, growth rate, comparison with direct competitors, and the ability to adapt to new market trends to meet client demands.
