Due to unfulfilled payment obligations at the end of June this year, 64,678 business entities in Croatia were blocked with a total unpaid debt of 36.74 billion kuna, and due to unfulfilled payment obligations, 262,657 citizens were blocked with a total debt of 20.22 billion kuna.
Unfulfilled payment obligations of business entities are slightly higher, by 0.1 percent, compared to May, while citizens’ debts are 2.6 percent higher compared to the previous month, announced the Financial Agency on its website.
Fina simultaneously notes that based on the initiation of pre-bankruptcy proceedings, the amount of reported unfulfilled payment obligations of business entities in June decreased by 1.03 billion kuna, and the number of debtors decreased by 160.
According to the duration of the block, business entities in long-term blockades dominate in both number and amount in June.
The number of insolvent business entities in blockade longer than 360 days, as well as the amount of their unfulfilled payment obligations, is slightly lower compared to May, with the number of business entities down by 1.4 percent and the amount down by 1.6 percent.
At the same time, the number of illiquid business entities in short-term blockade is 29.2 percent lower than at the end of May.
In blockade for up to 60 days, there were 3,191 business entities with reported overdue unfulfilled obligations of 1.4 billion kuna.
More than three-quarters of business entities in blockade have been blocked for more than 360 days, and the amount of their blockade accounts for 85.4 percent of the total debt.
