In a survey conducted by Hendal Market Research for HTV on a sample of 600 respondents, nearly 79.7% of citizens do not support the privatization of the Croatian Postal Bank, while 12.5% find it an acceptable solution. Respondents are also not enthusiastic about the privatization of Croatia Insurance – just over 80% do not support privatization, and only 11% agree with that decision.
When it comes to the monetization of highways, the majority of respondents do not agree with the government’s decision. 70.4% do not support monetization at all or mostly, while just over 19% believe that highways should be concessioned.
Evaluating the government’s performance on a scale from 1 to 5, as many as 20.6% of respondents gave the government an unsatisfactory rating (1), while even more – 33% gave a passing grade of sufficient (2). Almost the same number of respondents think the government is doing well (3), only 7.2% very well (4), and just 1.6% of surveyed citizens believe the government deserves the highest rating (5).
