The producer of mineral and spring waters as well as non-alcoholic beverages, Jamnica, part of the Agrokor group, achieved a net profit of 45.8 million kuna in the first half of the year, which is an increase of 17.9 percent compared to the same period last year, according to the unconsolidated financial report published by the company on the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
Total revenues of Jamnica d.d. amounted to 605.2 million kuna, which is seven percent higher than in the first half of last year. Meanwhile, sales revenues, which constitute the majority of income, increased by 5.9 percent to 580.8 million kuna.
In the first half of the year, compared to the same period last year, Jamnica increased total expenses by six percent to 547.7 million kuna. Material costs rose by 10.3 percent to 388.7 million kuna, while personnel costs decreased by 6.5 percent to 78.6 million kuna.
In their explanations of business results, Jamnica states that the company continued to invest in the development of new products and the improvement of existing ones. They also note that through constant contact with customers and suppliers, they manage liquidity risk and ensure sufficient financial resources to meet their obligations.
