Dubrovnik is a favored destination even in autumn, confirmed by the latest inclusion of Dubrovnik in the top destinations for autumn vacation by travel portals Trip Advisor and FlipKey.com, reported today by the Dubrovnik Tourist Board.
Trip Advisor is the largest travel portal, and its sister company FlipKey.com is one of the most used portals for searching and booking accommodations with a total of 20 million members and over 50 million reviews and opinions. Monthly, the FlipKey and Trip Advisor portals have over 150 million unique visitors combined.
This title, the Dubrovnik Tourist Board notes, is based on several factors including unique seasonal activities in Dubrovnik, pleasant weather, and unforgettable experiences with friends and family.
“Enjoy the beautiful views and mild autumn weather in this charming city on the Adriatic Sea,” states the FlipKey page as a unique invitation for a short vacation in Dubrovnik in autumn.
According to announcements from Dubrovnik hotels, good occupancy is expected during September and October, and in addition to hotels, good tourist traffic is anticipated in private accommodations as a continuation of Dubrovnik’s excellent performance since the beginning of this year.
