The Agency for Payments in Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development has paid the company Hamer from Čakovec 6.5 million kuna for investment in the construction of a facility for milk processing and special vehicles for milk transport, the Agency reported today.
This payment is based on approved funds from the IPARD program for completed investment under measure 103. “Investments in the processing and marketing of agricultural and fish products for the purpose of restructuring these activities and achieving community standards.”
The company Hamer d.o.o. has been paid 6.5 million kuna for investment in the construction of a facility for milk processing and special vehicles for milk transport.
The company has built a facility for milk processing in accordance with national and EU standards to increase capacity and expand products. The new modern equipment will ensure the durability of product quality and long-term business stability, the statement said.
The Čakovec company Hamer opened a new dairy plant named Zrindol in Šenkovec at the end of last year, an investment worth 20 million kuna, with a processing capacity of 25,000 kilograms of raw milk per day.
The modern dairy was built with financial support from IPARD and meets the most demanding modern standards in milk and dairy product processing.
The company Hamer has been engaged in milk processing in the format of a mini dairy since 1998, and in addition to dairy production, it is also developing a bakery offering.
