From Saturday, cheaper parking in Zagreb

According to the decision of the Zagreb City Assembly, which adopted a new Regulation on parking zones, conditions, and prices, from Saturday, July 13, parking prices will be more favorable.

The price of daily parking in public garages Langov trg, Kvaternikov trg, Petrinjska, Gorica, and Rebro will be 6 instead of the previous 7 kuna per hour starting Saturday, July 13. The price of night parking in these garages will be 3 instead of the previous 4 kuna. Parking prices will be even more favorable in the public garages Tuškanac and Svetice, where the hourly parking will cost 4 kuna during the day and 2 kuna at night. 

A new feature is the introduction of all-day and weekly parking tickets for garages, as well as prepaid cards for each individual garage. Users will be able to use the prepaid card for multiple entries into the garage until the value expires. By purchasing a card worth, for example, 450 kuna, the user will be able to use a service worth 500 kuna. Additionally, when purchasing 4 subscription cards for the same period, garage users will receive the fifth card for free.

Drivers will pay 8 kuna instead of the previous 10 kuna for one hour in Zone I, and 4 kuna in Zone II, while the parking price in Zone III remains unchanged. The price of daily parking tickets will also be lower, now costing 160 kuna instead of 200 kuna in Zone I, and 80 kuna instead of 100 kuna in Zone II. In Zone III, instead of 50, the price for a daily parking ticket will be 30 kuna, the same as in Zone IV.

A completely new service is the possibility of purchasing a parking ticket for public parking lots regardless of the place of residence. Citizens can buy a weekly, monthly, or annual ticket. The price of a weekly ticket in Zone I will be 300 kuna, and the price of a monthly ticket in the same zone will be 1,200 kuna. For Zone II, the price of a weekly ticket will be 150 kuna, and monthly 600 kuna. For Zone III, the price of a weekly ticket will be 60 kuna, and monthly 240.
