Today, a joint protest of market renters from Croatia against the introduction of fiscal cash registers has been announced in Zagreb.
Protesters will gather at Dolac market at 10 AM, from where they will head to St. Mark’s Square, where they will submit their demands exactly at noon.
They are requesting flat-rate taxation instead of through fiscal cash registers and propose a three-month moratorium to negotiate working conditions with the Government.
Traders from Rijeka, Osijek, Slavonski Brod, and Đakovo will also come to Zagreb. Zoran Plavčić, a representative of sellers from Rijeka markets, stated that around 70 sellers will organize to go to the protest against fiscalization from Rijeka.
A protest against fiscalization at markets will also be held in Split.
