The announcement of a referendum on monetization is the topic of a press conference that will be held on Tuesday at the HUP premises at 11 a.m.
The organizer is the Bipartisan Sector Council for Transport of the Republic of Croatia, whose members are representatives of employers in road transport of goods and passengers, the Transport Union (SSSH), the Drivers’ Union, and the Road Union of Croatia.
According to the Council’s president, Marijan Banelli, due to the summer holidays, he expects the signing of the petition for the referendum to begin in September and states that, based on his conversations with citizens, there is a strong sentiment against monetization.
