Who is the judge who made the historic ruling against the banks?

Judge Radovan Dobronić, who today made the historic ruling in the Franak case, was born in 1960 in Čakovec, and graduated from the Faculty of Law in 1985.

What is particularly interesting is that Dobronić spent eight years at Zagrebačka banka, which he noted at the beginning of the trial, but neither party felt the need to request his recusal.

After Zaba, Dobronić went to the District and Municipal Court, passed the bar exam, and specialized in banking law and monetary obligations. He became a judge of the Commercial Court in 1996 and in 2006 he ran for president of the High Commercial Court, but withdrew from that.
