The Zagreb-based company Ingra announced today via the Zagreb Stock Exchange that it has successfully completed works on the Iraqi hydroelectric power plant Haditha, worth 5.8 million euros.
Ingra has completed works worth 5.8 million euros which rehabilitated the turbine, generator, and associated hydro-mechanical equipment on unit number one of the Haditha hydroelectric power plant in Iraq, Ingra stated.
They remind that during the 1980s, Ingra was the contractor for the construction of the complete Haditha hydroelectric power plant (6 times 110 megawatts), which enabled the conclusion of this job.
Unit number one was out of operation for 12 years, and thanks to the specific and expert knowledge of Ingra’s staff, it has been successfully put into operation and commercial operation at full capacity of 110 MW, the statement said.
After the renovation of the first unit, Ingra is competing for the rehabilitation works of the other five units of the Haditha hydroelectric power plant, the company stated, where they expect more good news about the conclusion of new contracts in the markets of Iraq and the Middle East.
Ingra has been operating in Iraq since 1964 and is one of the few companies that did not close its representative office even during the most intense conflicts, the Zagreb company stated.
