Autotrans Increases Salaries

An annex to the Collective Agreement has been signed at Autotrans, increasing the salary base for all employees by four percent.

With this signature, the Management and the Union of Autotrans have ensured the maintenance of the real standard of employees. The average net salary at Autotrans amounts to 5,336.00 kuna, the company reports.

Before the salary increase, the Autotrans group acquired 30 new buses worth 24 million kuna. Additionally, 60 new workers were employed due to contractual jobs.
With Croatia’s entry into the European Union, changes have been made at Autotrans for the independent performance of jobs in the markets of Germany, Austria, and Italy. In these projects, the German company Pan Alpen Adria, owned by Autotrans, is of particular importance.

The Management and the Union concluded that the previously successful operation of the business system, which employs over 1,000 workers and operates 400 buses, can only continue successfully in the new business environment with increased competition from foreign carriers and tour operators through maximum business rationalization, ensuring employee standards, and further development of logistics, as stated in the announcement.
