Danko Končar new president of the Supervisory Board of Brodotrogir

The new president of the Supervisory Board (NO) of Brodotrogir is Danko Končar, it was reported today from Brodotrogir in a statement regarding the general assembly of Brodotrogir, where a decision was also made to elect new members of the Supervisory Board.

The assembly was held at the end of last week, and it is stated that all proposed decisions and reports were accepted, the previous members of the Supervisory Board were revoked, and a decision was made to elect new members.

The new Supervisory Board is expected to have five members, of which three are appointed by the assembly in accordance with the ownership share, one is appointed by the Agency for Management of State Property (AUDIO) based on the Agreement on the Sale and Transfer of Shares of Brodotrogir, and one representative is elected by employee representatives.

The new members of the Supervisory Board are Danko Končar as president, Slobodan Vernić as deputy, and Ante Bilić as a member, it is stated in the announcement, adding that the names of the representatives appointed by AUDIO and the employees will be known when they are proposed.

The assembly also accepted other decisions on the agenda, including the one on the distribution of profits for 2012.

According to the data from the invitation for the general assembly, the determined profit of 1.81 billion kuna is allocated to cover the carried-over losses from previous periods amounting to 1.79 billion kuna, while the amount of 18.16 million kuna is allocated to retained earnings.

According to previously published data, Brodotrogir reported a profit of 1.81 billion kuna for the past year, which is primarily the result of the accounting representation of the restructuring carried out by the state at that shipyard. Namely, the state, among other things, based on the agreement on the restructuring program, took over the obligations of Brodotrogir covered by state guarantees into public debt.

Since the beginning of April this year, Brodotrogir has been owned by Kermas Energija, an entrepreneur Danko Končar, after the contract for the transfer of shares of Brodotrogir was signed on April 6 by the Minister of Economy Ivan Vrdoljak and the director of Kermas Energija d.o.o. Danko Končar.

This contract also established that the Government, in addition to the write-off of claims arising from the takeover of loans for which state guarantees were issued, additionally bears the restructuring costs amounting to 380 million kuna. In addition, the payment of 20 million kuna equivalent to state aid for advance guarantees for new shipbuilding is provided. Končar, on the other hand, must pay a total of 2.04 billion kuna for restructuring.
