Riviera Adria Stock is the Hit of the Week

Almost all stock indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange recorded a decline in value this week, ranging from 0.20 to over 2 percent, with the Crobex index falling by 0.35 percent to 1,795.57 points, and Crobex10 decreasing by 0.93 percent to 1,011.86 points.

Of the five sector indices, only the CROBEXtransport index increased on a weekly basis, by 0.36 percent. The value of the construction sector index decreased the most this week, by 2.07 percent, while the CROBEXindustry fell by 1.24 percent.

The weekly regular trading volume of shares amounted to 98.5 million kuna, to which an additional 8.8 million kuna from block transactions of shares of the company Riviera Adria should be added.

The shares of that company achieved the highest weekly regular trading volume, exceeding 45.8 million kuna, with a price increase of 0.42 percent to 14.50 kuna.

At the end of the week, Riviera Adria announced that the Valamar group increased its ownership stake and, together with several other shareholders with whom it acts jointly, holds more than 85 percent ownership in Riviera Adria.

Following with 12.8 million kuna in trading volume are the shares of HT, whose price decreased by 2.26 percent on a weekly basis, closing the week at 178.01 kuna. During this week, it also reached its lowest level since being listed on the Zagreb Stock Exchange, at 172.80 kuna.

The weekly trading volume of Dioki shares amounted to 3.8 million kuna, and their price fell by 16.97 percent to 22.66 kuna, which can be attributed to this week’s refusal of the company’s creditors to accept the restructuring plan in the pre-bankruptcy settlement process, with a new plan to be developed by June 26.

Shares of Vupik and Valamar Adria Holding achieved around 2.5 million kuna in trading volume this week, with Vupik’s shares increasing by 2.37 percent on a weekly basis to 126.97 kuna, while Valamar’s shares decreased by 2.95 percent to 144.60 kuna. Shares of Belje also collected over 2 million kuna in weekly trading volume, with their price falling by 4.63 percent to 71 kuna.

With trading volumes exceeding one million kuna, eight more stocks ended the week, half of which recorded a price increase. The highest percentage increase was 142.67 percent to 1.82 kuna, among which the shares of Magma increased, whose creditors accepted the restructuring plan, and they only need to conclude a pre-bankruptcy settlement before the competent commercial court.

Significantly, the price of Kraš shares also increased by 12.83 percent to 430 kuna, while the shares of Tisak and Adris group (regular) rose by 0.22 and 0.43 percent, respectively.

In contrast, the largest price drop among stocks with more than one million kuna in weekly trading volume was recorded by the shares of Privredna banka Zagreb, down by 5.10 percent to 465 kuna. The price of preferred shares of the Adris group also fell by 1.61 percent, as well as the shares of Petrokemija by 3.03 percent.
