CEOs of companies in Croatia have opposed the introduction of property tax because they have put personal interest first, emphasized Finance Minister Slavko Linić at the beginning of the financial conference organized in Zagreb by the consulting firm Leitner&Leitner.
-These people have many private properties and that is why they are against taxing that type of asset- added the minister.
Let us remind you, this initiative has also faced opposition from the SDP’s coalition partner HNS, and the finance minister recently stated that the law will not be passed in this term of the Government unless it is introduced by the end of the year.
