The Management Board of the Association of Serbian Banks has accepted the recommendations of the National Bank of Serbia regarding relief measures for the repayment of loans in Swiss francs, Beta reports.
The General Secretary of UBS, Veroljub Dugalić, stated at a press conference that a standardized solution will be prepared in the coming days, which will be recommended to all banks.
According to him, banks will need some time to prepare new loan repayment contracts, but he believes that the work will be completed by August 1.
The NBS has recommended that banks allow borrowers in francs to repay their loans over a period of three years with reduced installments from the originally agreed amounts.
