In Žrnovnica Bay, near Senj, Zubak Group has built a business-tourist complex, which consists of two hotels and two villas with accompanying sports and recreational facilities and a fleet of rental boats, with a total investment worth 100 million kuna, the company reported today.

The complex, named Veladrion, spans 300,000 square meters of protected area and has created 30 new jobs. Of the total investment amount, 80 million kuna was invested in the construction of accommodation capacities and infrastructure, while the remaining 20 million kuna was allocated for the procurement of vessels and leasing boats.

The accommodation capacity in the two hotels and two villas totals 80 beds, and additional facilities include multipurpose halls, an outdoor and indoor seawater pool, a wellness and fitness center, sports facilities, catering establishments, a nightclub, a promenade, a private beach, and a special-purpose port, where Veladrion’s rental fleet is located.

Veladrion also offers several vessels, yachts, sailboats, and a wooden boat for day trips and fishing, and Zubak Group emphasizes that it is possible to rent part or the entire estate with all facilities and amenities, for one or more days, with or without staff. Additionally, at the guest’s request, Veladrion organizes transportation, including by airplane, business limousines, or passenger vans.

Zubak Group also emphasizes that domestic companies’ services and production capacities were used in the construction and equipping of all facilities, while only equipment not produced in Croatia was procured from abroad.

Special attention, they add, was paid to environmental protection and renewable energy sources, and modern bio-purifiers for wastewater and sewage have been installed. A private power plant has also been built, which, by utilizing solar energy, produces 50 percent of the electricity needs and 80 percent of the hot water needs, as stated in the announcement.
