Marko Krištof appointed new director of DZS

The government discussed personnel issues today – Teja Kolar was relieved of her duties as assistant minister of economy at her personal request, effective July 1, 2013.

Based on the conducted procedure following the public competition, Draženka Arar has been appointed as the Secretary General of the State Office for Croats Abroad for a period of four years.

The former director of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics, Dr. Ivan Kovač, was relieved of his duties effective June 30, 2013, and Marko Krištof has been appointed as the new director, effective July 1, 2013, and consequently relieved of his duties as assistant minister of labor and pension system, effective June 30, 2013.

Until the appointment of the director of the Digital Information and Documentation Office based on the conducted public competition, for a maximum of six months, Neda Erceg has been authorized to perform the duties of the Office director.

A decision on the dismissal of Dubravko Bilić, director of the Agency for the Protection of Personal Data, at his personal request, is being submitted to the Croatian Parliament for adoption.

With the positive opinion of the State Office for Management of State Property, the General Assembly of the company Jadranski Naftovod d.d. proposes the dismissal of the current member of the Supervisory Board, Vlado Andučić, and the election of new members Marija Bilman, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Goran Vojković, and Stjepan Čuraj.

Also, with the positive opinion of the State Office for Management of State Property, the General Assembly of the company Petrokemija d.d. proposes the dismissal of Supervisory Board member Ivan Nekvapil due to taking a new position and the election of a new member Tomislav Radoš.

To the General Assembly of the company Đuro Đaković Holding d.d., with the positive opinion of the State Office for Management of State Property, it is proposed to dismiss the current member Željko Marić and elect a new member Vjekoslav Leko, who is also proposed as the new president of the Supervisory Board.

As representatives of the competent authorities and institutions, the president of the Government Commission of the Republic of Croatia for Captured and Missing Persons, Ivan Grujić, has been appointed, along with members Sonja Raguž, Sunčana Vukelić, Ivica Šimac, Dr. Vesna Batistić Kos, Ivo Afrić, Jasmina Dolmagić, Robert Filipović-Peršin, Brigadier Ivan Smojver, Prof. Dr. Davor Strinović, and Prim. Dr. Nenad Javornik, MD, as well as secretary Višnja Bilić.

The president of the Commission for the Research, Arrangement, and Maintenance of Military Cemeteries, Cemeteries of World War II Victims, and Post-War Period Cemeteries, who is by position the Minister of Veterans, has been appointed as Predrag Matić. His deputy is Ivan Grujić, and the members, as representatives of the competent state authorities, institutions, organizations, institutes, and religious institutions, are Ani Pejković, Zdravko Modrušan, Dinko Kovačević, Nevenka Klemen, Sanja Šaban, Academician Petar Strčić, Dr. Jasna Turkalj, Franjo Talan, Protojerej Stavrofor Duško Spasojević, Mr. Senad Nanić, Rabbi Dr. Kotel Dadon, Chief Rabbi Lucian Moše Prelević, Emeritus Prof. Dr. Ivo Banac, Prim. Dr. Nenad Javornik, MD, Vlatka Lemić, Mr. Dragica Kemeter, Martin Baričević, Mr. Ivan Fumić, and Željko Kulišić.
