Metro Signs Contract with the Croatian Interest Association of Hoteliers

Metro Cash & Carry Croatia and the Croatian Interest Association of Hoteliers (HIUU) signed a strategic cooperation agreement yesterday in Split and will work together to promote the Croatian Interest Association of Hoteliers (HIUU) through the communication channels of Metro Cash & Carry, announced the retail chain.

Metro Cash & Carry will provide HIUU with special purchasing prices, marketing support, special discounts, and educational training, and will work together to present new market trends and actively participate in campaigns to contribute to the growth and development of HIUU, whose ultimate goal is to reach 4,000 members in 2014.

– I am extremely pleased that we have signed this agreement with HIUU. Quality and safety are always our top priorities at Metro, as well as strengthening and expanding partnerships with Croatian hoteliers. As the largest Cash&Carry retail chain in Europe, we want to leverage the strength of METRO to ensure the competitiveness of our professional associations after entering the EU. For the same reason, in 2013, METRO Croatia also connected with the Association of Small Traders of Croatia, with which it signed a Supply Agreement. We believe in HIUU and together we can contribute to their progress and development, said Vladimir Gnjidić, Director of Customer Relations at Metro Cash & Carry.

The President of the Association, Miro Bogdanović, and his Deputy, Tonči Glavina, are also extremely satisfied with this cooperation, and Glavina stated that this partnership and collaboration is another step in ensuring the best business conditions.
