The company dm awarded today the prize for the best design of workwear for employees of 148 dm stores in Croatia.
The competition was conducted in collaboration with the Faculty of Textile Technology in Zagreb, and the best design solution was awarded to Martina Martinović.
– With this competition, dm provided students with the opportunity to showcase their creative abilities, and in return, we received interesting design solutions that will make the shopping experience in our stores even better – stated Ana Fostač-Krilčić, Head of Human Resources at dm.
The design solution by Martina Martinović was rated the best by a committee composed of representatives from dm, both from sales and other departments. The final confirmation of the selection will also be given by the employees in dm stores who will test the practicality of the chosen solution while working.
– I am confident that winning this competition will be an excellent reference for me in future projects, which is why I am grateful to dm for this experience and for the great support during the realization of the design solution. In my work, I focused on practicality and comfort, and I sincerely hope that the employees in dm stores will also like my vision of workwear – stated Martina Martinović.
During the one-month duration of the competition, undergraduate and graduate students of Textile and Clothing Design and Industrial Textile and Clothing Design were to devise a design for workwear for dm employees. Students had great creative freedom in their work, as the only limitation was the functionality required by workwear and the use of dm’s corporate identity.
