In Focus: Dioki Shares for Investors

At the Zagreb Stock Exchange, Crobex indices were slightly up around noon, primarily influenced by positive movements in European markets, with the highest turnover achieved by Dioki shares.

The Crobex index was up 0.05 percent around noon, at 1,839 points, thus breaking a 4-day negative streak. The Crobex10, on the other hand, was up 0.29 percent, at 1,054 points, breaking a 5-day negative streak. The regular turnover in shares amounted to only 2 million kuna, which is 1.44 million less than yesterday at the same time.

– Crobex indices are slightly up today, primarily influenced by similar movements in European markets, but we will see if they can remain in positive territory until the end of the day. The turnover is very small, and the focus of investors is on Dioki shares – says Nigela Bubalo, broker and member of the Management Board of the investment company Credos.

Dioki shares have so far achieved the highest turnover, amounting to 467,000 kuna. Its price increased by 4.86 percent, to 23.10 kuna. Following is the share of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, with a turnover of 236,000 kuna. Its price remains stable at 1,335 kuna.

A slightly higher turnover was also achieved by Varteks shares, 210,000 kuna. Its price increased by 1.03 percent, to 20.5 kuna. At today’s hearing in the pre-bankruptcy settlement procedure for Varteks, a vote is expected on the amended financial restructuring plan.

Last week, Varteks announced that it had reached an agreement with the Ministry of Finance regarding the amended restructuring plan proposed by the Ministry. The agreed plan between the Ministry of Finance and Varteks is an important step for the successful implementation of the pre-bankruptcy settlement, emphasized Varteks, noting that the plan respects a comprehensive solution that assumes an agreement with secured creditors.

Meanwhile, Petrokemija reported that today’s Supervisory Board meeting, where the agenda for the general assembly was to be established, including a proposal for the reduction and increase of share capital, has been postponed to Thursday, June 6. The price of Petrokemija shares increased by 1.73 percent, to 216 kuna.

The biggest winner among shares is Excelsa Nekretnina, with a price jump of 8.7 percent, while the biggest loser is IGH, whose price plummeted by 8.39 percent. The price of HT shares is 209 kuna, which is 0.65 percent less than yesterday, with a turnover of 167,000 kuna.

At the same time, stock prices on European exchanges also rose today, after two days of decline, as investors were encouraged by the rise in stock indices on Wall Street and the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Currently, the Frankfurt DAX, Paris CAC, and London FTSE indices are up between 0.4 and 0.6 percent.
