Crodux Derivatives acquired 62 OMV gas stations and its local headquarters in Zagreb on June 1 of this year, OMV reported today.
The Croatian subsidiary of the Austrian oil company, OMV Hrvatska d.o.o., was sold to Crodux Derivatives in February of this year, and at the end of March, Crodux’s acquisition was also approved by the Competition Protection Agency (AZTN).
In today’s statement from OMV, it is noted that all 63 employees of the former subsidiary will continue to work for the new owner. It is also reminded that both companies agreed not to disclose the price at which Crodux acquired OMV’s subsidiary in Croatia.
In accordance with the signed agreement, the former OMV gas stations will gradually change their name to “Crodux Derivatives” over the next six months, concludes the statement from OMV.
Crodux Derivatives is part of the Crodux Plin group, owned by retired General Ivan Čermak.
In addition to Croatia, OMV has also withdrawn from the BiH market, where it sold its subsidiary to the Oil Industry of Serbia (NIS), also in February of this year.
