As of June 1, summer, higher tariffs are in effect on domestic ferry and fast boat lines, warns Novi list.
As every year, tickets will be on average about twenty percent higher during the season, but a real shock is expected in two weeks, writes Novi list, when tickets on fast boat lines will increase further, on average by fifty percent compared to the ‘winter’ tariff.
Ferry prices will not change, except for the seasonal increase, so a ticket for the transport of a personal vehicle on the Valbiska-Merag route costs 115 kuna, instead of 96, which is its price outside the summer season, while a ticket for individuals now costs 18 kuna, instead of the winter price of 15.
Tickets on popular catamarans have also increased, so sailing from Rijeka to Mali LoĊĦinj now costs 60 kuna instead of 50, while the price for islanders remains 40 kuna. This price will remain only until June 15, when, according to the proposal of the Agency for Coastal Line Maritime Transport, the ticket for the same route will increase to 75 kuna. Tickets to Rab and Novalja will increase even more, costing 80 kuna during the season, and 60 kuna outside of it, which is the current summer tariff.
