What the hell is that?!

Has a stone awakened your fantasies? Something similar happened to those who saw the Virgin Mary ‘appear’ on toast, Jesus in cappuccino, the devil in the sky, a pelican or a monkey in a tree…

Artistic photographer and Lider’s photo editor Dražen Lapić, for example, perceives a stone isolated and upright on a rock that he photographed on the island of Pag as a phallus. This and many other vulgar ‘scandalous’ photographs have been published in the new issue of Tehnopolis, Lider’s monthly magazine on technology, science, and innovation, to help clarify the phenomenon of pareidolia. Sooner or later, pareidolia, the phenomenon where we recognize the familiar in the unknown, plays with everyone’s gray matter. The question is whether it is a useful phenomenon or a tiresome disorder.

And although they have already won one million US dollars, it is explained in Tehnopolis, the military leadership is ready to allocate a few more million for creatives who impress them in tank design.
