Government and Unions – Who Will Yield First?

The unions have threatened to block vital institutions if their demand for the return of certain material rights is not accepted. State officials have already stated that they will not allow this.

A strike in education, if it occurs, would jeopardize the administration of the state graduation exam. This would, of course, cause the most harm to students.

It should be noted that not all unions are in favor of a strike as they understand that the state currently lacks the funds to meet union demands. The government has appointed Miranda Mrsić as its representative in the mediation process with the unions.
