The Minister of Science, Education and Sports, Željko Jovanović, stated today that he has filed a lawsuit against Zdravko Mamić for discrimination, as he feels a moral and social obligation as a citizen, doctor, and politician to oppose any form of discrimination, which is the greatest evil.
– Anyone who practices discrimination on any grounds – national, religious, or gender affiliation, deserves to be sanctioned – emphasized Jovanović.
Together with lawyer Vesna Alaburić, he filed a lawsuit against Zdravko Mamić for discrimination, as he believes that in this way we send a message that hate speech and discrimination cannot be tolerated and must be sanctioned, he added.
– I believe that this is an obligation not only for me but for all people in Croatia, including the media – emphasized Minister Jovanović in response to journalists’ questions ahead of the Government session.
