The non-holding of the Ministry of Finance’s treasury bill auction did not come as a surprise, write RBA analysts.
The established pattern of postponing the maturity of old tranches left little room for expectations that the auction could take place, given that nothing was maturing.
In the period ahead of us, auctions should begin to be held on a somewhat more regular basis, considering the maturity of 3.5 billion kuna and 50 million euro treasury bills in June.
