Under Pressure: Builders and Badel 1862 Shares

The value of stock indices on the Zagreb Stock Exchange has fallen for the sixth trading day in a row, with Crobex down by 0.36 percent to 1,879.44 points, marking its lowest level since mid-January.

Crobex10 has decreased by 0.40 percent, closing at 1,067.53 points, which is its lowest level since early February.

Most sector indices also recorded declines, with indices for the food industry, manufacturing, and construction falling by more than one percent – CROBEXnutris down by 1.74 percent, CROBEXindustrija by 1.44 percent, and CROBEXkonstrukt by 1.43 percent, while the only exception was the tourism sector index CROBEXturist, which recorded an increase of 1.66 percent.

Trading continues to be characterized by low turnover, with today’s regular turnover amounting to 8.5 million kuna, and no stock recorded a turnover of over a million kuna.

The most traded stock was Jadranska banka with a turnover of 900 thousand kuna, whose price remained unchanged at 1,000 kuna.

The price of HT shares also remained unchanged, closing at 211 kuna, with a turnover of just over 804 thousand kuna.

The shares of the Ilok company for the production and trade of construction materials Razvitak, traded on the MTP, achieved a turnover of 737 thousand kuna, with a significant price drop of 24.62 percent to 33.50 kuna.

Following in turnover is the stock of Hotel Makarska with 556.8 thousand kuna. Its price of 180 kuna also remained unchanged compared to yesterday.

With a turnover of 539.3 thousand kuna, the price of Ericsson Nikola Tesla shares fell by 2.17 percent to 1,262 kuna.

The price of Petrokemija shares fell by 1.28 percent to 232 kuna, with a turnover of 433.3 thousand kuna, while AD Plastika shares decreased by 0.74 percent to 119.80 kuna, with a turnover of 404.9 thousand kuna.

Among stocks with higher turnover, the price today also fell for Đuro Đaković Holding shares by 0.65 percent, for Ina by 1.01 percent, and shares of the IGH Institute continued to be under pressure with a price drop of 4.17 percent, Ingra by 5.80 percent, as well as Badel 1862 shares, which fell by 4.35 percent.

On the other hand, the price of Dalekovod shares rose today by 1.78 percent, with a turnover of only 84.7 thousand kuna. Dalekovod also announced on the Stock Exchange that its Supervisory Board discussed the received binding offer for recapitalization on behalf of the company Konsolidator, which is majority-owned by Nexus Private Equity Partners. The Supervisory Board and Management of Dalekovod discussed the offer but did not make any decisions; instead, they requested additional clarifications and information from the bidder, and the discussion will continue at the next Supervisory Board meeting on Monday, May 27, as announced by Dalekovod.

Among the more traded stocks, those that ended with a price increase today included Valamar Adria Holding by 1.69 percent, Luka Rijeka by 1.83 percent, Liburnia Riviera Hotels by 2.56 percent, and Arenaturist by 6.27 percent.
