Who voted for Bandić and who for Ostojić?

According to the demographic analysis, which was based on the initial estimates of the local election results, out of 5,329 surveyed voters, 2,370 are men and 2,447 are women, reports Dnevnik.hr.

Of the total number of men, 43.6 percent voted for Milan Bandić, while 23.4 percent voted for Rajko Ostojić. Among the 2,370 women, an even higher percentage, 45.1 percent, voted for Bandić, while 26.8 percent voted for Ostojić.

Regarding age groups, Bandić received the most votes from the group aged 18 to 29 years (50.4 percent), while only 17.9 percent in that group voted for Ostojić. Ostojić received the most votes from the age group of 60 years and older, but Bandić is also strong in that age group with 35.7 percent.

In terms of education level, as many as 60.7 percent of those with completed primary education voted for Milan Bandić, while 13.8 percent of those voters voted for Rajko Ostojić. Among those with a secondary vocational education, 51 percent voted for Bandić, while 21.5 percent voted for Ostojić. Those with completed higher education mostly voted for Bandić, specifically 34.6 percent.
